Mercer challenges approaches to educational and liturgical practices with children in congregations that segregate children from the rest of the church and its key practices of service, mission, worship, care, and learning. She reframes ministries with children as processes through which the church as a "community of practice" forms children into an alternative identity that resists surrounding consumerist culture and walks in the ways of Jesus. This book offers strategies for educational practices with children in congregations as it seeks to address the question, "What might educational practices that welcome children and contribute to their flourishing look like in the context of a faith community where children's learning happens in collaboration with experienced practitioners of faith?" Don’t but this…

The holder came quickly and isn’t that bad but mounts with a huge adhesive backing, which again isn’t;t bad, but it was sent in a plastic bad, like a zip lock bag. The adhesive backing has NO protecvtyive strip on it, so it is covered in lint and debris and was sticking to the bag it was sent in.

I just hope it will last for a long time

The material is not cheap, I mean it’s a really good silicone!
Very easy to use out of the box, and it did fit two of my bricks.
All I hope is that it will last for a long time stuck under my desk since I had to stick my bricks upside down.

Works great. Keeps things nice and tidy.

Works great! I regularly use the end of my dining table as a spot to use my laptop and really wanted a more organized way of keeping the cord tidy. This of course would also easily work on a desk as well
It's completely made from a nice stretchy and durable silicone and could accommodate pretty good size chargers. My charger is pretty small so it doesn't fit tightly, but it still works perfectly. It's also super easy to install. The reverse side of this has really strong adhesive to hold onto whatever flat surface you attach it to. Mine is adhered to the underside of a wood table and so far it doesn't appear to have any issues with it. I should mention that since it's held on by adhesive, it's not something you can easily move after installed, so put it where you want it to permanently be. That said, for the price you can easily get a second or a third one if you need it in multiple locations.
Overall, it works great and it really keeps my laptop charger off the floor and everything is nice and tidy.
