An illustrated foray into the hidden truth about the use of psychoactive mushrooms to connect with the divine. - Draws parallels between Vedic beliefs and Judeo-Christian sects, showing the existence of a mushroom cult that crossed cultural boundaries. - Contends that the famed philosophers' stone of the alchemist was a metaphor for the mushroom. - Confirms and extends Robert Gordon Wasson's hypothesis of the role of the fly agaric mushroom in generating religious visions. Rejecting arguments that the elusive philosophers' stone of alchemy and the Hindu elixir of life were mere legend, Clark Heinrich provides a strong case that Amanita muscaria, the fly agaric mushroom, played this role in world religious history. Working under the assumption that this magic mushroom was the mysterious food and drink of the gods, Heinrich traces its use in Vedic and Puranic religion, illustrating how ancient cultures used the powerful psychedelic in esoteric rituals meant to bring them into direct contact with the divine. He then shows how the same mushroom symbols found in Hindu scriptures correspond perfectly to the symbols of ancient Judaism, Christianity, the Grail myths, and alchemy, arguing that miraculous stories as disparate as the burning bush of Moses and the raising of Lazarus from the dead can be easily explained by the use of this strange and powerful mushroom. While acknowledging the speculative nature of his work, Heinrich concludes that in many religious cultures and traditions the fly agaric mushroom--and in some cases ergot or psilocybin mushrooms--had a fundamental influence in teaching humans about the nature of God. His insightful book truly brings new light to the religious history of humanity.Binding Type: Paperback

Works great once assembled
Color: Black
I had an experienced handyman attach the wheels, and even he was confused since the instructions are poor. So allow yourself some extra time to assemble the wheels. However, once attached and placed upright, the wheels are smooth and its very easy to position. And it folds up into a small footprint just as advertised. Looks great. No issues with quality.

Game-changer for me
Color: Light Grey
I’ve had a basement office for a while. I share a big room with my work bench. I’ve always just had a curtain hanging between the two, but after a promotion, I decided it was time for something more professional looking. This divider is awesome, and move-able when I need the space for my workbench activities.
The frame is very sturdy - impressively sturdy even. The felt walls are thick enough to take even heavy duty tacks.
There are three things that could make it even better, but none of them are enough to knock a star off my review, because this is truly a quality piece of office gear.
1. Put a magnetic strip on the top bars so that you could hang a little heavier items or add magnetic hooks. I plan to buy some magnetic tape to allow for this.
2. Allow the panels to be locked at the top. The locking wheels do a decent job of keeping everything in place, but if you could also lock the top of the frames, it would greatly increase stability. Note that it is already quite stable, but the top locks would make it very similar to actual cubicle walls.
3. Put a swivel caster on the middle wheel bars. This would allow you to configure the panels and the “feet” at angles other than 90 degrees when desired.
Again, these suggestions would take a fantastic item and put it into 6-star rarefied air. It is truly a great product as-is, but I would gladly pay another $100 for this item if it had these additional features.
