Traveling Alone follows Tift's critically lauded 2010 album See You on the Moon, which NPR Music called 'beautiful and aching' and People Magazine hailed as 'a most important step forward in a remarkable artistic journey that continues to search, penetrate, and surprise.' for Traveling Alone, Tift Merritt s Yep Roc Records label debut, Merritt put together her dream cast to make a record that was real, raw and live off the floor. Recorded in Brooklyn in 8 days, this album was produced by Tucker Martine (The Decemberists, My Morning Jacket), features a guest appearance by Andrew Bird and a band that includes Marc Ribot (Tom Waits), Eric Heywood (Pretenders, Son Volt), John Convertino (Calexico) and longtime collaborator Jay Brown. These songs were written and traveled by Tift Merritt.

I purchased this remote cover to replace an older one that has become stretched out and doesn't stay on the remote anymore. This cover is of good quality, and fits well on the apple remote. The pretty blue color is nice and easy to see. It does glow a typical green color in the dark making it easier to spot at night. The silicone material helps to keep the remote from slipping from your hand or across the table or countertop. I love that it also keeps the remote from being damaged, should someone accidentally drop it.

I should have bought this years ago

One of the best items to invest in. I wish I would have known this was available before I dropped my Apple TV remote. I've never liked how small and thin the remote was. It's difficult to grasp and slips out of my hand regularly. It finally hit the tile floor on the corner with enough force to crack it but thankfully it still works. Once I saw this cover I immediately had high hopes. It slips right on and stays on. It gives the remote some much needed bulk. It's been a week and I haven't dropped it yet! Like others have stated, the Glow in the Dark "feature" is pretty nonexistent, so don't rely on that as your deciding factor. Just choose the color you like. My only negative experience, which I don't really blame on this cover is the lack of finger contact near the upper corners of the touchpad that controls the "jump forward 10 sec" while using PLEX media. The cover needs to grab those corners to stay on and I think the manufacturer did about as good a job as possible to keep the edges tight. The cover is just thin enough to allow my fingertip to push toward the edge to trigger a touchpad response. It takes a little getting used to but it works. I NEVER liked the Apple touchpad sensitivity/control on any setting so I blame the lack of control on Apple. I wish I had ordered the cover multi-pak just in case the corners wear out over time. But for now, I couldn't be happier with the results. I wish I knew it existed years ago.
