The pangolin is one of the world’s most distinctive and protected creatures, recognised for the overlapping scales that form its natural armour. Quiet and elusive by nature, it has become a symbol of resilience and conservation across Africa.

Created by Patrick Mavros Jnr in collaboration with the Tikki Hywood Foundation, this Pangolin Armour Ring draws from the layered structure and texture of the pangolin’s scales, carefully translated into sterling silver. Each ring is handcrafted in our Studio in Zimbabwe, beginning as a hand-worked model before being cast using the traditional lost wax casting method. The piece is then hand-finished and polished to bring depth and definition to every surface.

10% of proceeds from this collection support the work of the Tikki Hywood Foundation in protecting pangolins and raising awareness for their conservation.
