Thor - Fleet Forge Helmet (Youth)

Thor keeps riders covered when the track gets rough and the pace gets wild. Thor - Fleet Forge Helmet (Youth) feels like gear built by people who actually ride, the fit is right, the ventilation works, and the protection doesn’t make you pay for it with extra bulk. Pop it on, snap the strap, and you’re focused on lines, not on fighting your lid.

Thor - Fleet Forge Helmet (Youth) is a purpose-built motocross/MTB-style helmet from Thor designed for real-world laps, practice days, race starts, and everything in between. The shell shape sits stable at speed and doesn’t tug when you look side to side, while generous intake and exhaust ports move air through the helmet so heat can escape instead of building up. Inside, the moisture-wicking liner pulls sweat off your skin and dries fast between motos; pads are removable and washable so the helmet stays fresh after hard weekends. Impact management is handled by a multi-density EPS that spreads and manages energy, paired with a smooth interior finish so it sits comfortably against your head without hot spots. The visor is positioned to block roost and low sun without feeling in your way, and it’s designed to release under abnormal load for added impact management. The chinbar has real breathing room, making it easier to pull air when you’re deep in a sprint, and the eyeport accommodates modern goggles with a secure seal. Thor’s fitment is straightforward, you don’t need to size up just to get cheek pads that feel right, and the D‑ring closure stays secure, lap after lap. For riders chasing dependable protection, consistent comfort, and clean style, this helmet delivers a balanced package that’s easy to live with and confidence-inspiring on track. It’s the kind of lid you forget about once the gate drops, and that’s the whole point.

Why We Like It The helmet feels planted and predictable, no weird lift at speed, no pressure points, just a clean fit that lets you ride loose. Vent ports actually move air, so you finish a moto less cooked, and the liner doesn’t hold onto sweat funk. Little touches like the easy-wash pads and a visor that stays put until you need it make this a set‑and‑forget lid that earns trust.

Why It’ll Work for You If you want a helmet that’s simple, protective, and comfortable without chasing gimmicks, this checks the boxes. It breathes on hot days, the interior is soft and easy to clean, and the fit is straightforward. You get stable handling at speed, room to breathe in the chinbar, and goggles sit in clean with a wide field of view, all the stuff that matters when you’re actually riding.

Account of a Review from a St. Nicholas
I have been representing the spirit of St. Nicholas for children for the past 26 years. I have been everything from a Mall Santa to a part in a Christmas Program at our local church. About ten years ago, I started reading this story to the children of the local cops & firefighters fairly close to Christmas Eve each year from an old tattered children's book. I usually hosted this in my own living room until it got too large to do so. This year we opened that reading up to the community and filled the basement of our local library with children and their parents. I needed something to replace the old tattered children's book with and this fit the bill. The illustrations are beautiful and the words large enough to read in front of a group of children. I wish the pages were a little more robust as they are difficult to turn with white gloves on but that is minor. I cannot recommend this edition of the timeless story enough.

“Twas the Night before Christmas” illustrated by Matt Tavares
Format: Hardcover
Clement C. Moore - “Twas the Night before Christmas” is a perennial holiday favorite of mine. Matt Tavares’ monochrome illustrations are incredible! Mr. Tavares’ version remains true to the text within the original 1823 poem, ”A Visit from St. Nicholas”. As noted - two original reindeer names – Dunder and Blixem. I highly recommend Irish illustrator PJ Lynch 2021 version and American illustrator Matt Tavares 2022 version of Moore’s “Twas the Night before Christmas”.

This is the original how it was written and the classic that has lived and will continue to live on forever in everyone's heart! This is not the edited version by the thought police. This is the classic in all its Glory celebrating Saint Nicholas and Christmas and the beauty of Christmas and Saint Nicholas. That has been enjoyed by generations since it was first written before it's destruction by editing. Buy this book! Tavares' beautiful craftsmanship brings Moore's poem to life
‘Twas the Night Before Christmas: or Account of a Visit from St. Nicholas is a beautifully illustrated edition of the famed Clement C. Moore poem. Using the original anonymous version of the poem (later attributed to Moore), artist Matt Tavares crafts a series of elegant black and white illustrations that captures its enchantment and whimsy. Additionally, the book’s layout has a simple yet classic design with green trim and subtle pieces of shading that give it a majestic look and feel. One of the best editions of the poem ever published, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas: or Account of a Visit from St. Nicholas has a bit of magic all its own.

Beautiful book
I purchased this book for my kids to read as it gets closer to Christmas. I specifically chose it because of the old world charm it has. I love the black and white sketches and the fact that the outdoor scenes of brownstones were illustrated from Boston brownstones, where we used to live. This book is just a classic and the illustrations have such depth and emotion. There is that quality and detail you can only get from black and white..and from an amazing illustrator. Lovely book. I'm very happy to own it and have it as part of our Christmas tradition..a lot more special to me than Elf on The Shelf..which was last years Christmas book purchase.
