It is ideal for coating metal because it also protects against corrosion. EPDM SUPERCOAT can be used to waterproof above ground masonry walls, chimneys and freezer enclosures. The applications of EPDM Rubber must be consistent with its characteristics which are: Vapor Barrier (Surface must be dry), Temperature tolerance from -60° to 400° F, Corrosion Resistant, Chemical Resistant and will absorb oils and fats to cause swelling.- Cure is by chemical reaction at 50°F and above
- Product is hydrophobic so it waterproofs immediately on application
- UV stable, does not em-brittle with age
- Final cured film properties will always be the same regardless of length of time or conditions after application
