The Kennametal BLVE 50mm is a boron carbide long venturi nozzle with an aluminium jacket and steel threads, delivering the longest service life of any standard liner material in abrasive blasting. Designed for use with a 25 mm (1") internal diameter blast hose, these nozzles are suited for heavy-duty surface preparation on large structures and industrial equipment where aggressive abrasives are the primary media and sustained liner life between nozzle changes is a priority.

The aluminium jacket keeps overall nozzle weight low while the steel threads provide a robust mechanical connection to 50 mm blasting equipment. Despite a higher purchase price than tungsten carbide 50 mm equivalents, the extended service life of boron carbide typically results in a lower cost per blasting hour in aggressive abrasive applications. Boron carbide is more brittle than tungsten carbide: careful handling is required, and rough handling should be avoided to prevent liner cracking.

Key Features

  • Long venturi
  • Boron carbide liner: typically 5–10 times longer service life than tungsten carbide with aggressive abrasives
  • Maintains peak blasting performance for longer periods with optimum air and abrasive consumption
  • Recommended for use with aggressive abrasives such as aluminium oxide and selected mineral aggregates
  • Thread: 50 mm (steel)

Available Sizes & Lengths
Available in nozzle sizes #4, #5, #6, #7 and #8, with lengths ranging from 133.4 mm to 219 mm.

Hate the Price, but love the ink.
Style: Ink
I totally hate the price of printer ink, mostly when it dries out when not in constant use, but I purchased generic and my printer would not let me use it and i have avoided the firmware update. So back to buying epson ink. It worked the minute i loaded it into the printer. Epson ink is great. it was great color and quality. Just hate the price tag.

Pricey but they work
Style: Ink
Pricey but the remanufactured ones either don't work at all, or they work for a short time then go belly up...

Run out of ink quickly
Style: Ink
When you have the Epson work Workforce Pro 3820 it only accepts Epson cartridges none of the cheaper ones Epson cartridges run out of ink really fast I actually had some of the non-epson brand cartridges in there they worked a couple of times but then one day they absolutely refuse to work so they're worthless and then I had to actually buy the Epson brand name
