The myMix IEX-16L-A is a 16-channel input expander designed to integrate seamlessly with the myMix personal monitoring system, enhancing its flexibility and scalability. This 1U rack-mountable unit provides 16 balanced line-level inputs via two rear-panel DB25 connectors, facilitating easy integration with mixing consoles, external microphone preamps, or digital interfaces. Each input channel offers individual digital gain adjustment at 0 dB, +6 dB, or +12 dB, allowing precise control over input levels to suit various audio sources.

In addition to analog inputs, the IEX-16L-A features two 8-channel optical ADAT inputs, which can be activated individually. This configuration enables versatile input combinations, such as 16 line-level sources, 8 line-level sources plus 8 ADAT inputs, or 16 ADAT inputs, providing adaptability to different audio setups. The expander connects to the myMix network via standard Ethernet, and multiple IEX-16L-A units can be combined to accommodate larger systems, with the total number of audio channels determined by the network switch's capacity.
