Each of our complete engines are numbered with a Shelby CSX number and includes the option to match numbers with your Shelby Cobra CSX number.
The Shelby Engine Company Complete Engine is built with:
- Shelby Aluminum 356 T6 CNC machined 289 block with Shelby logo
- Stroker crank, 4340 forged steel, internally balanced
- 5.4” H-beam rods, 4340 steel with 8740 7/16” cap screws
- Mahle 4032 alloy power pack pistons (piston pins do not intersect oil ring)
- Custom ground hydraulic roller cam
- True double roller timing set
- Custom 4130 .083 wall 5/16 push rods
- Aluminum roller rockers
- Period correct Cobra 4 BBL intake manifold
- 8 quart oil pan
- Melling blueprint racing oil pump, high volume
- Shelby finned aluminum valve covers with black finish
