The Kneeland Co. x Temple Studio Rug Collaboration was born out of friendship and a mutual admiration for textiles and pattern. A year in the making, the collection includes five styles that were inspired by antique prints and jacquards from the Kneeland Co. Textile Archive. Made in India and Nepal, each rug is made in a specific color palette that mimics its history and pattern. Based in NYC, Temple Studio is a conceptual textile, rug, and wall covering showroom representing select textile designers and artists as well as their own collections.
This perfectly noisy pattern is available in Sonic Brick and Sonic Black and was inspired by a 1920’s vintage wallpaper sample. With a nod to Futurism, this rug pays homage to The Godfather of noise music in Italy, Luigi Russolo, who was a composer and builder of experimental instruments.
