Type NO0.5 & NO1
The MIST DIFFUSER BLACK No0.5 has a rather subtle diffusing effect, making the filter perfect in settings with strong backlighting. The No1 has a comparatively stronger light diffusing effect, making the filter great in low light scenes.
In video & cinema
The cinematic effect is not only great in photography, but also excels in videos and movies. It pushes a little bit back that recent trend of "over sharpness" and gives a vintage look that is reliably repeatable across various cameras and lenses.

The No0.5 creates a more subtle effect, making the filter perfect even with strong backlighting or in situations with strong light sources close to the camera.
Tips for shooting
MIST DIFFUSER BLACK No0.5 and No1 are recommended for different scenes. No0.5 is suitable for night scenes and backlit scenes when the sun starts to set, while No1 is more suitable for forward lit or low light situations.The soft effect is stronger when the focal length of the lens is on the telephoto side and weaker at the wide-angle side.The effect may vary depending on the type of light source and other shooting conditions like for example shutter speed.The effect seen in the viewfinder and the result of shooting (depending on print, monitor size, etc.) may differ.The final result will also change depending on the exposure compensation, so it is recommended to use exposure compensation if necessary.

Great Functionality a bit light weight tho!

It’s def functional. It looks nice and is not an eye sore. Def will be easy to maintain for cleaning of dust. HOWEVER, four stars simply cause it is a bit top heavy. I will have to find a solution to weight it down so it’s not so top heavy. Possibly in the future they might design a simple one like this with a simple one pound weight across the bottom. Outside of that tiny little issue…a pretty solid simple compact remote holder that functions. Need I say it is Not an eye sore sitting on th coffee table. That was also a winner n my book.

Fits a Voice Roku perfectly! Aligned and snug. Impressive.
Color: Purple Glow
So I grabbed the Purple Glow. Some of the pictures threw me off. And I realize now those partially translucent pics are to show you how it fits. ::face palm:: I was surprised at how well this fits and it makes the remote bigger so for my med-large hands it is great. I was surprised how I liked the fit.
Now at first I thought I was sent the Lilac Purple. Because mine was not glowing at all after sitting in my living room for a few hours.
I took a HIGH lumen LED light and shined it on one side and went into the closet and it glowed-ish. So irradiated the thing and then it glowed pretty well.
I have seen items like this that whatever is used to make things glow fade over time. I wish there was a manufacturer date on these. I know they can make the unit and print out a new sticker. So you just never know.
I sent it back for an exchange. I do want it to glow. So we will see.
However, if it does not glow I will keep it. Since it is the best fitting and easy to take remote out to change battery.
I have had floppy covers (so useless) and super snug ones that fit perfectly but for me were a pain to on and peel off.
