The shade is made using cotton fabric on lamp crafters styrene, and attaches to our lamp base. There is a cast iron weight underneath the lamp. Has an 8 foot cord with rotary switch. Handmade with care and perfection, using UL parts. 40 watt maximum bulb, bulb included!
