DESCRIPTION

Hovea Curve is a loose fit drop shoulder jacket & coat. Pattern features multiple lengths; deep angled feature pockets; unlined, full lining or quilted options; and belt or tie closures.

View A is a mid length unlined jacket with collar band. View B is a mid length quilted jacket with binding. View C is a lined coat with collar band and belt. View D is a quilted coat with binding. View E is an unlined cropped jacket with collar band. View F is a quilted cropped jacket with binding.

FABRIC

Light to medium weight fabrics such as cotton, linen, chambray, blends etc are recommended for the quilted versions B, D & F. Avoid thick fabrics or these versions can become bulky.

Medium weight fabrics such as linen, cottons etc or medium to heavy weight coating fabrics such as boiled, felted or suiting wool are recommended for Views A, C & E.

Prequilted fabrics are suitable for all views.

The taste was sour and most of the bag was pulverized shreds. :( I did find that letting a bit airdry in a bowl made it a little more palatable, but honestly it'sjust sitting in my fridge still, where normally I'd have eaten the whole bag in a day or so. Also, some of the bites left a weird coating and nasty taste on my tongue, like baking soda or something, but definitely an off taste. I had my own beef jerky store for several years, so I'm a connoisseur, but no snob. -----update 8/13/2019------- I contacted customer service via the email on the bag and got a response. They sent me a new bag and here is the email I sent them back. Very happy now. ....The biltong showed up last Thursday! I'm sorry i kept forgetting to email you. It is delicious. It's night and day difference between the bag I got through Amazon originally. This bag was pristine and the taste is spot on. Every piece is a perfect slice, no shreds or fluff. Dark, rich brown color, not hay colored like the old bag. I really think that the other bag got very hot or something and out the taste off. Thank you so much. Now I know that if I am in the mood for biltong, Ayoba-yo is a good choice. Thanks for the customer service as well.....

          I have been lucky to visit South Africa a few times in my life. What is not lucky is coming home to the United States and craving biltong. Biltong is a magical, sugar-free, barely processed jerky and once you try it, you will never want to eat American beef jerky again. Biltong made in South Africa cannot be imported to the States, which is probably the saddest thing ever.
