Eileen Gray schuf nicht nur einige der bedeutendsten Möbelklassiker des 20. Jahrhunderts, sondern unterhielt auch ein eigenes Atelier, in dem Teppiche nach ihren Entwürfen hergestellt wurden: Meisterwerke abstrakter Textilkunst aus 100% reiner Wolle, handgeknüpft und in höchster Qualität verarbeitet. Eileen Gray entwarf den Centimetre Rug für den Salon ihrer Villa E1027. Mit einem geheimnisvollen Code lenkt sie die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Zahl 10 – eine Verbeugung vor J, dem zehnten Buchstaben des Alphabets. Das J steht für Jean Badovici, mit dem sie die Villa Maison au Bord de Mer E1027 entwarf. In den späten 1920er-Jahren verwendet Eileen Gray für ihre Entwürfe oft Zahlen und Zeichen – wie zum Beispiel fragmentierte Elemente von Alltagsgegenständen. Diese sind Anspielungen auf ihre breitgefächerten Interessen, denen sie sich in ihrem schöpferischen Dasein widmete. Teppich aus 100% reiner Wolle. Biologische Farbstoffe. Nice Quality Socks

Hate shopping for clothes online, even for socks. Looked at lots of different brands and settled on these due to their customer reviews which seemed positive. I ordered 2 of the 3 packs of the coyote brown in the large size. The color is pretty accurate to the advertisement. You can see my picture of the new sock unrolled straight out of the box alongside a tape measure that shows the length. The socks seem like they are very good quality. The aren't thin or see through like some of the cheaper options I considered. To me the are similar in thickness to a name brand white tube sock like Hanes or Fruit of the Loom. The large size is 18 1/2 inches long in it's natural shape and easily stretches over the calf but below the knee. I wanted to lighten the color to more closely match my work pants and tried washing them 5 times with bleach mixed in the washer. They held their color, and elasticity even with the bleach, so I didn't get the color change I was hoping for but goes to show that under normal washing (without bleach) the color won't likely fade anytime soon. The have great stretch and elasticity and stay up above the calf all day without sliding down. Definitely ordering these again when needed.

Good replacement for GI socks

I ordered these for my son, he’s in the military and the socks they issued him were all getting holes worn in the top of the toe area from his work boots. So I ordered him some of these to supplement his normal ones. He said they’re pretty comfortable, we’ll see how they hold up after he wears them for awhile. But initially I’d say they’re a good buy. Points for the affordability.
