The two-tone mohair bear with large, seductive eyes made headlines and entered the Guinness Book of Records as “The Most Expensive Bear in the World”. Now, Steiff have taken inspiration from this record-breaking bear to create their latest limited-edition collector bear. Her gorgeous golden-mohair has been delicately hand-tipped just like her predecessor. What makes her extra special is a genuine silver “Mercury dime” from 1926 around her neck - inspired by Happy’s new American home and minted in the same year as the original bear was made.

Encapsulated in a beautifully enamelled art-déco inspired coin holder and presented on a luxurious emerald-green, velvet ribbon, the “Mercury dime” is considered to be one of the most beautiful coins ever produced by the United States Mint. From a limited edition of 1,926 pieces worldwide
