Ähnlich wie die Argodiode-Batterietrenner können mit Argofet-Batterietrennergleichzeitig zwei oder mehr Batterien über einen Wechselstromgenerator (oder ein Batterieladegerät mit einem einzelnen Ausgang) geladen werden, ohne die Batterien untereinander zu verbinden. Im Gegensatz zu der Argodiode-Batterietrenner, kommt es bei der Argofet-Batterietrenner zu so gut wie keinem Spannungsverlust. Der Spannungsabfall ist geringer als 0,02 Volt bei Niedrigstrom und im Durchschnitt 0,1 Volt bei höheren Stromstärken.
