Mit Living Forest: Kodama können sich Spielende der Herausforderung nun auch solo stellen. Außerdem enthält die Erweiterung neue Tiere und neue Bäume sowie Materialien, um die Kodamas ins Spiel zu integrieren. Über eine neue, zusätzliche Aktion können diese gerufen werden, um das eigene Deck zu verstärken. Zur richtigen Zeit aufgedeckt, bringen sie Sonderboni, die dabei helfen, Onibi in die Flucht zu schlagen.
